HOW DO I GET A FIREWORKS BOOTH PERMIT?
- Print out the application below.
- Be sure that all information is filled in.
- Attach a written consent from Property Owner.
- Attach a site plan.
- Attach Liability Insurance.
- Attach the Retail Fireworks License from the California Fire Marshall.
- Sign the completed application and return in person to City Hall, 312 E Street. We are currently unable to process applications electronically.
Leaving any of the above out of your application may cause delays in processing. It also may cause us to return your application due to insufficient information.

ISSUANCE OF FIREWORKS BOOTH PERMIT
When your application is checked and approved and you have met any related conditions of approval, your license is ready to be issued. You will be contacted to come to the office, pay the fees, and pick up your license. The Fireworks Booth Permit is a $100 fee.
FIREWORKS SAFETY
To help you celebrate safely on theFourth of July, we offer the following Fireworks Safety tips:
- Always read and follow label directions.
- Have an adult present.
- Buy from reliable sellers.
- Use outdoors only.
- Always have water handy (a garden hose and a bucket).
- Never experiment or make your own fireworks.
- Light only one firework at a time.
- Never re-light a “dud” firework (wait 15 to 20 minutes and then soak it in a bucket of water).
- Never give fireworks to small children.
- If necessary, store fireworks in a cool, dry place.
- Dispose of fireworks properly by soaking them in water and then disposing of them in your trashcan.
- Never throw or point fireworks at other people.
- Never carry fireworks in your pocket.
- Never shoot fireworks in metal or glass containers.
- The shooter should always wear eye protection and never have any part of the body over the firework.
- Stay away from illegal explosives.
